I encourage all of you - even if you've already contacted your Reps and Senators once, do it again! I contacted mine back in October, and just contacted them again this week. A little repetition never hurt!
I'm also trying to bring more awareness to this issue through a series of articles I'm writing (http://www.examiner.com/x-40712-Atlanta-Adoptive-Families-Examiner~y2010m3d9-Farewell-to-Adoption-Tax-Credit-Part-1), and in that series I will be urging my readers to contact their reps & senators. |

I cannot believe that they won't continue the tax credit. Surely they are not that clueless to think it isn't a consideration in everyone who adopts. I would hate to see adoption turn into something only the rich can do. We are middle income and it was a huge consideration for us. We are counting on it. Our China adoption is taking over 3 years, and counting. Hope we get the credit.
